EFAD Portability Position Paper

At the EFADs plenary meeting in Cannes on 15th May 2016, members adopted a position paper on the European Commission’s proposal for a Regulation on the cross-border portability of online content services. The EFADs supports the Commission’s overall objective in their proposal. Nevertheless, portability must be implemented in full respect for the territoriality of rights which is the foundation of financing and distribution in Europe.
