EFAD Mourns the Passing of Board Member Ignasi Camós Victoria

EFAD members are profoundly saddened by the passing of our dear colleague and member of our Board, Ignasi Camós Victoria.

All EFAD members, the Board and the Secretariat extend their sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues at the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales. He will be greatly missed.

A Doctor of Law and Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Girona, Ignasi served as Director General of the ICAA since 2023, following his work in the Ministry of Culture. 

A valued member of EFAD’s Board, Ignasi's contribution has left a lasting impact on Spanish cinema and the broader European audiovisual community. He will be remembered for extensive expertise, his openness and professionalism, as well as his kindness.
